1. I am not a beginner, yet I'm not a intermediate.

2. I like my yo-yo to sleep easily.

3. I want to learn string tricks.

4. I also want to be able to do the picture tricks I know.

5. I want it to be under $20

Thanks!

I personally prefer the Duncan Freehand. It's a bit smaller than the Freehand Zero and under $20. It should do you well since you already know some picture tricks.

Another yo-yo to consider is the Duncan Metal Drifter. Not strictly a beginner yo-yo, but you shouldn't have too much trouble learning to play with this yo-yo.

Remember all these yo-yo's require Duncan Friction Stickers.

Duncan Freehand Zero is your best bet. It's probably the best sleeper in your price range, and it also does tons of tricks. It's definitely not a beginner yoyo.

The response system consists of two reversable silicone pads. One side has dimples for a quick response and the other is smooth to make the yoyo less responsive. Colors May Vary
