Well this one may depend on how you are going to use it. If you are looking for a duty light, something along the lines of a Mag- Light, I would probably go with the Streamlight. From what I hear the weapon/ tactical lights by Surefire are very good. The compromise there is that they are quite expensive. Look online at the retailer Gall's (www.galls.com). They are a supplier of Police, Fire, and EMS. There may be some alternatives there if you are wanting something different.

Like lakefrontblues said Streamlight is a very good flashlight. It s can be used for tactical operations. Also Inova is good too and shines very far. You can go to galls.com and look at stuff like EMS, fire, and police. You can also order there catalog to come to you in the mail.
