I found my old train set (Hornby) in the loft at the weekend and want to find out how much it is worth, does anyone know of a web site that gives the prices of the different parts, id like to know if i am sitting on a little gold mine or just a load of old toys.

I think the best site would have to be e-bay. You will get a realistic price of what people are prepared to pay.

Another option is of course contacting local train set enthusiasts.

Or even a speicalized train collector shop - but be really careful I had an old Hornby set valued at £60 then I sold it on E-bay for £110 !!!
